Pitching Clinic



Whether you’re looking to learn the basics or sharpen your pitching skills, this clinic has something for pitchers of all skill levels. Aspiring pitchers will walk away with knowledge of proper warm-up, body and ball placement, the right technique to help you hit the strike zone, and how to avoid injuries.

Learn the mechanics and fundamentals of the delivery, while maximizing repetitions through drills and skill development, to enforce muscle memory. Learn the art of pitching and build the confidence you need to elevate your performance.


Sessions are led by Courtney Creedon,

former RFA pitcher and NCAA Division II athlete

Sunday, September 16th

10u (1): 9-10:15am

10u (2): 10:30-11:45am

12u: 12-1:15pm

14u: 1:30-2:45pm

16u: 3-4:30pm

10 spots for each session


$20 per child

Please bring: glove, sneakers/cleats (no metal cleats), and water bottle. Pitchers will also need to bring their own catcher. There will be no charge for your catcher. If you’re unable to find a catcher, please let us know so we can make arrangements for you!

Meet your Pitching Instructor:
Courtney Creedon


Courtney is an experienced athlete and training coach for fast-pitch softball pitching instruction. She is an expert on the fundamentals of the game and can develop proper mechanics and techniques with pitchers. She also has an effective and efficient system in improving player performance and can assist pitchers in reaching the next level of play through practice, conditioning, and education.

Courtney was born and raised in Central New York, specifically in Rome, NY. There she played for multiple leagues and teams including Rome Ruckus and the Mohawk Valley Mystic. While playing for the MV Mystic in 2005, she won the ASA 16-U B East New York State Championship and the ASA 16-U B East National Championship. The team also made appearances in the NYS Championship and Nationals in 2006, 2007, & 2008, winning states again in 2007. She then went on to be the starting Varsity pitcher for Rome Free Academy in 2007 & 2008, where she had an all-time ERA record of 0.92.

Courtney was accepted to the University of New Haven in 2008. There she played for the NCAA Division II Chargers. She was a Deans List   student and was inducted into the International Honor Society of    Psychology. In 2012, she graduated with a bachelor’s in psychology and a bachelor’s in criminal justice.

Upon graduating, Courtney moved to New Jersey where she was a  softball and pitching instructor with the Elite Training Academy in Franklin Lakes, NJ. While there, she conducted softball camps & clinics, and provided one-on-one instruction to girls of all ages and skill levels.  A few years later, she relocated back to the Central New York area where she currently resides.
